       Humans and communication is one unit. Communication inherent in human beings, so we can not Communicate. Basic concepts of Persuasive Communication

Persuasive communication environment is a situational context in which this persuasive communication process occurs. It could be a historical context, the physical context of temporal, contemporary events, impending events and socio-cultural norms.

Basic Concepts Attitude


Attitude is a tendency to act, berpersepsi, think and feel in the face of objects, ideas, situations, and values, have the impetus or motivation, relatively sedentary, containing evaluative aspects, and attitudes arise from the experience.

Characteristics attitude is to have an object, has a direction, degree, and intensity, can be learned, and is stable and durable.

There are three components of attitude, which is a component of cognitive, affective, and conative or psychomotor. Cognitive components related to beliefs about the object, idea and concept. Affective component associated with feelings related to the emotional aspect. Conative component is the tendency of a person to behave.

Manifestations attitude can not be seen directly, but must be interpreted first as a behavior that is still closed. There are three main factors that influence the formation of a person's attitude, namely the influence of physiology, personality, and external factors. Influence of physiology related to the biological aspects of a person, while the combination of personality factors concerning mental and neural. External influences related to environmental factors, either in the form of situations, experiences and barriers to the formation of attitudes.

Attitude is very strategic aspects in the study of persuasion. The concept of attitude is very beneficial for the persuader in predicting attitudes persuadee so he can do his communication effectively.

Learning Theory Approach to Persuasive Communication

Classical conditioning is a form of learning that allows the organism to respond to a stimulus that previously did not cause such a response.

Elements of Classical Conditioning include Unconditional stimulus, unconditional response, and the conditioned stimulus. The concept is related to the stages of research Pavlov, comprising the steps of training, formation pelaziman, reinforce, and spontaneous recovery.
