What is the psychology of communication
Communication and Psychology are fields that are related to each other, especially involving human alike. Communication is the exchange of information carried by humans to change opinions or other human behavior. Meanwhile, human behavior is the object of psychology. Thus, forming a psychological theory of communication.
Communication is a social event that occurs when a person interacts with other human beings. Psychologically, social events will take us to the social psychology. Social psychology approach is also approach the psychology of communication.




Communication is essential for the growth of the human personality. Lack of communication will hamper the development of personality. Communication is very closely related to the behavior and experience of human consciousness.
In the history of development of communication does dibesaran by psychology researchers. Mr. Science Communication called Wilbur Schramm is a psychology graduate. Kurt Lewin is a psychology expert group dynamics. Communication is not subdisciplines of psychology. As a science, communication studied various disciplines, such as sociology and psychology.

Scope of Psychology of Communication

Psychology is also interested in the communication between individuals: how the message of an individual becomes a stimulus that causes a response in other individuals. Communications may be addressed to provide information, entertain, or influence. Persuasive itself can be defined as the process of influencing and controlling the behavior of others through psychological approach.
